Tarain

I call the system that I came up with Tarain (tàhrr-ah-een). This is because most of the things I do involve the Elements. As I stressed on the page before, and will stress on the following pages also, is that it is very important to become one with the Elements if you are to get closer to the Goddess than you already are. This is just a small page to show the tenants of tarain. I will not bore you with more of what seems like my rants (perhaps they are?) but if I receive enough requests from people that they want to learn more, then I shall post more. At this time these pages are just a basis of what Tarain is.

Tenants Of Tarain

The Elements are life, without the beauty of them we would not be. We are the Elements and they are us.

There are 5 Sacred Beasts, Great Turtle, Griffin, Dragon, Pheonix, and Unicorn. Each Is the Ruler of the Elements. The Study of each one leads us to new and exciting things in ourselves and the world.

Belief in reincarnation. Each life brings you higher towards your Astral\Soul's goal. There is a task that each one must do during the Astral lifetime, we are born again and again until we have completed that task. In you incarnation there are also lessons that should be learned with little goals going towards the big one. Once completed so is the incarnation.

When two humans meet in love and joy in each other, the woman can become pregnant with an astral child. The gestation period varies from woman to woman.

Magick is in every move and thought we have.

We are the Goddess and the Goddess is us.

The Rede is not a rule but a way of life. It also goes the other way in that we should not let other harm us. The rede does not mean becoming a pacifist

The body is a carrier for the astral\soul, a temple if you will. We treat it as such. We treat others with the knowledge that they are too.

We celebrate the eight sabbats and 5 extra Festivals celebrating the elements.

The Goddess is honored as herself twice a month at the Mother Moon and the Death Moon.

When a Festival or a Ritual is found that is liked, it is done for the joy.(Chocolate Ritual, Initation to the Bill the Cat Cult, The Elvis Lesser Banishing Ritual, Rite of the Opposer, etc.) For there are no laws saying that we can't learn from others peoples ideas.

Hugs and kisses make the world go round with a smile.

The Youngerself is more grown up than the Higherself.

I realize that some of these are confusing but if you have questions you can e-mail me. Please keep in mind that most of the things you read are out of my imagination, coming to me through dreams, instincts or just made up. I have read one book on Wicca and leafed through two others. So if you write to me to ask what books I reccommened I won't be able to tell you much. My system has grown from Scott Cunningham's "Wicca: A Guide for the Solitary Prationer." I have strengthened myself with exercises from Starhawk's "Spiraldance", one of those leafed through books, and expanded my knowledge of religion with the "Goddess Spirituality 101" from Red Deer's Wicca 101 site.

Once again I would like to thank Aine's Cauldron for the beautiful graphics. This one is for a Little One's Page, but I could not pass it up, for after all what I speak of is a little one.
